DESCRIPTION

Created in the early days of the global pandemic, Love Is In The Cloud responded to the profound emotional distance and invisibility people were experiencing. It reimagined intimacy, presence, and affection through the screen — offering strangers the chance to be seen, appreciated, and loved simply for being.

For two years, I guided weekly curated encounters that rekindled trust, emotional connection, and the thrill of the unknown.

Described by the press as "a safe environment for people to be themselves" and "an experience filled with butterflies in the stomach," the project created a virtual space of affection, discovery, and joy — far beyond the transactional coldness of dating apps.

Celebrated across major media (Glamour, Veja, Estadão, TV Cultura, UOL), Love Is In The Cloud became a cultural phenomenon, proving that even at a distance, authentic human encounters are not only possible — but vital.

EXPERIENCE DYNAMICS

Love Is In The Cloud emerged as a ritual of survival and tenderness, designed to expand emotional worlds while physical worlds shrank.

Participants were carefully curated into intimate groups, mixing strangers from distant cities, backgrounds, and realities — intentionally working against algorithmic filters and social bubbles that dominate virtual life. The experience was built to reconnect people through surprise, diversity, and emotional generosity.

Each session hosted 12 participants, following the Theory of Group Cohesion to optimize intimacy and diversity without overwhelming individuals. Over two years, I led over 160 sessions, welcoming more than 1,920 participants into crafted rituals of affection, presence, and playful risk.

Sessions began with a breathing ritual, creating emotional arrival and safety. Participants then moved through eight 5-minute encounters, guided by questions not designed to provoke or impress, but to allow participants to feel seen, valued, and loved — such as:

"Look me in the eye and describe what you see."
"If you were to give me a gift just by witnessing how I laugh, what would it be?"
"You have five minutes to give anything beautiful to me."

These invitations often sparked spontaneous offerings: tarot readings, songs, poetry, laughter, shared silences, and small rituals of care.

To amplify the playful, affectionate spirit, I created music playlists of nostalgic love songs, set the scene with a moving cloud background, and appeared in each session with my signature red lipstick — transforming the virtual into a surreal, tender encounter space.

After each meeting, participants reflected by noting a beautiful detail from the encounter, cultivating awareness of the ephemeral magic of fleeting human connection.

Participants reported feelings of rescued trust, joyful nervousness, a return to curiosity, and hope — with many describing it as the “most beautiful butterflies of the quarantine.”

Some connections even transcended into real-world meetings.
